Everyday you should allocate an hour where you can really knuckle down and be productive without any communication with others, including online.
Usually this works best in the morning when your mind if at its freshest and you’re feeling most alive, although any time of the day will do.
Having time away from emails, social media and general interactions with others can really help you to stay focussed and concentrate on the task at hand. We’ve all been there, checking our emails, drift on to social media and before you know it you’re 10 videos deep into an internet rabbit hole!
Don’t do it! Try and save the first hour of the day to organise what needs to be done and make a good start at it. If you can squeeze in another “power hour” after lunch too, amazing!
